Man is this the best Phil & Friends lineup or what?!?!? These guys are A W E S O M E! This first set was the absolute heater. Every song was well played and Loose Lucy>Lovelight Jam>Loose Lucy is so KILLER. The highlight of the first set though is this Cosmic Charlie... Thought the set was over for sure and BAM! Phil even did his hippie sign language for what seemed like every word.
Second set started out great with the Playing In The Band>Bird Song, but kind of fell off from there until the NFA>Playin' Reprise. These portions were fantastic I thought. Then came one of my own and probably everyone else's all time favorites BOX OF RAIN!!!!!!!!!!! Phil must have it in good with God because as we walked out it was POOOOUUUUURRRING down rain and we hadn't had rain, especially rain like that, in St. Louis in what seemed like forever. A memory that will be with me till I die.
